Kate is a Paralympic triathlete, organisational psychologist and mother of 2.

During her short triathlon career to date, Kate has had 27 starts consisting of: 16 wins, 21 podiums, including a World Championship bronze and Rio Paralympic Games, 5th.

Kate made her Paralympic debut in triathlon at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Since Rio she has excelled at building her reputation as one of the best paratriathletes in the world. Kate returned to the the international triathlon circuit six months after son, Henrik was born in 2018. With her family’s wellbeing priority and wanting to have another child, the postponement of the Tokyo Games due to COVID meant Kate made the hard decision to step away from competing in 2022. Kate was regarded among the Australian Paralympic team’’s strongest medal hopes for Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Kate returned to racing three months after daughter Sofie was born in 2022, and now has her sights set on Gold at Paris Paralympics 2024.

Kate’s achievements in triathlon was particularly notable given Kate's background in equestrian, including the World Equestrian Games in 2010. While equestrian and triathlon share few commonalities, Kate's competitive instinct and motivation to improve are ever present.

Kate’s professional work spans organisational culture, leadership, wellbeing and inclusion to help leaders & organisations master the right skills to thrive and achieve success now and in the future.

Being a positive role model for her children, women, mothers and young adults drives Kate’s desire to inspire and break the glass ceiling every day.
